Verse 1	神是我的亮光，我的拯救，又是我的保障，我還懼怕誰？那作惡的就是我的仇敵，前來吃我肉時就絆跌仆倒。雖有軍兵安營攻擊，我的心也必不害怕；雖然興起刀兵來攻擊我，我仍滿懷信心，安穩在主裏。	The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? He is the strength of my life. When the wicked, even mine enemies, Came upon me to eat up my flesh, they fell. Though a host encamp against me, My heart won't dread nor be afraid. Though death calls for me in the midst of war. Even then, in this will I be confident.
Verse 2	有一件事，我曾求耶和華，就是能一生住在他的殿中，得以永遠活在他的跟前，不單止可以瞻仰他的榮美，亦能在他殿裡求問。雖遭患難，他必保守，藏我在他帳幕的隱密處，將我高高地安置在磐石上。	One thing have I desired of the Lord, That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah. In His presence all the days of my life, To gaze upon the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in His temple, For in troubling times He hides me, In the secret of His Tabernacle, And keep me safe high upon a mighty rock.
Verse 3	我現得以昂首，高過仇敵，要在神的帳幕裡歡然獻祭，我要唱詩歌頌讚耶和華。神啊，我用聲音呼籲的時候，求你垂聽，並應允我。你說當尋求你的面，那時我的心即時向你說：耶和華啊，你的面我要尋求。	And now mine head will be raised 'bove my foes. With shouts of joy will I offer sacrifices. Yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord. Hear, O Jehovah, when I cry with my voice. Be merciful and answer me. You have said to me, "Seek My Face". My heart says to You, Your Face, will I seek. My heart says to You, Lord, Your Face, will I seek.
Verse 4	耶和華啊，不要向我掩面，也不要發怒趕逐你的僕人，你向來是幫助我，救我的，不要丟棄我，也不要離棄我。縱然我父母離棄我，耶和華也必收留我。求你將正直的道指教我，引導我走平坦的路免遭害。	Lord, hide not Your Face far from Your servant. And put not Your servant away in anger. Lord, You have been my help in all my trials. Leave me not, forsake me not, my Salvation. My parents may abandon me, But Jehovah will take me up. Teach me Your way, and lead me a plain path, Because of my foes who lie in wait for me.
Verse 5	求你不要把我交給敵人，不讓恨我的惡人遂其所願，因妄作見證，口吐凶言的，起來誣告我，恐嚇我，攻擊我。我相信在活人之地，必見耶和華的恩惠，我要堅定地等候耶和華，要堅定不移地等候耶和華。	Deliver me not over to my foes. Turn me not over to the will of my foes. False witnesses have risen against me. And such as breathe out cruelty and violence. I am confident I will see, The goodness of God in the land. Trust in the Lord, have faith, and despair not. He shall strengthen your heart. Yea, wait on the Lord.
