Verse 1	Jesus, I my cross have taken, All to leave and follow Thee; Destitute, despised, forsaken, Thou from hence my All shalt be. Perish every fond ambition, All I've sought or hoped or known; Yet how rich is my condition! God and heaven are still my own.	基督恩主，苦架我背，放棄富貴跟主走。縱有貧窮，怨恨，背棄，不須驚嘆我屬祢。我已放棄一切抱負，放棄欲望所得到；看我現在多麼豐厚！恩主天家永屬我。
Verse 2	Let the world despise and leave me, They have left my Savior, too. Human hearts and looks deceive me; Thou art not, like them, untrue. And while Thou shalt smile upon me, God of wisdom, love, and might, Foes may hate and friends may shun me; Show Thy face, and all is bright.	不管世界把我放棄，世界都將主放棄。凡人心胸虛假奸詐；恩主真心我願靠。當主此刻跟我笑面，顯主愛智與力量，摯友棄我，敵人攻我，主顯榮面照亮我。
Verse 3	Go, then, earthly fame and treasure! Come, disaster, scorn, and pain! In Thy service, pain is pleasure; With Thy favor, loss is gain. I have called Thee Abba, Father! I have stayed my heart on Thee. Storms may howl and clouds may gather, All must work for good to me.	縱有地上寶庫尊貴！伴著禍害嘲笑苦！事奉基督，苦也高興；有祢恩典失變得。心中宣稱主祢作父！我盡力量倚祢肩。縱有浮雲陰風吼叫，我知主必厚待我。
Verse 4	Man may trouble and distress me, Twill but drive me to Thy breast; Life with trials hard may press me, Heaven will bring me sweeter rest. Oh, 'tis not in grief to harm me While Thy love is left to me; Oh, 'twere not in joy to charm me Were that joy unmixed with Thee.	縱有困惱苦痛傷我，更會學習靠近主；縱有試探威逼兇險，天家休息更善美。不必悲傷，不怕毒害，因主愛眷不更改；世界玩樂不會高興，若是沒有主做證。
