Verse 1	I traveled down a lonely road and no one seemed to care, the burden on my weary back had bowed me to despair, I oft complained to Jesus how folks were treating me, and then I heard Him say, so tenderly,	我悄悄去上孤單路，感覺四處冰冷，負背重擔倍感困倦，淒清怨嘆失意，我屢抱怨對主說，好友背棄捨我，我細細聽救主去安慰我：		我在孤寂的路上走，無人對我關心，沉重的擔子壓肩頭，使我失望難受；我常埋怨對主說：為何如此待我，我就聽見主慈聲對我說：
Chorus 1	"My feet were also weary, upon the Calv’ry Road, the cross became so heavy, I fell beneath the load, be fatithful weary pilgrim the morning I can see, just lift your cross and follow close to me."	「我當天加畧山中，雙腳刺痛倦疲，深深倍覺十架重，我終不支仆倒。你縱困惱要堅守，好快黎明將到，你快去背起苦架跟貼我。」		「當我走加略山路，雙腳亦感疲乏；這十架如此沉重，我被壓至仆倒。天路客阿，要忠心，黎明就快來臨，你只要背起十架，靠近我。」
Verse 2	"I work so hard for Jesus" I often boast and say, "I’ve sacrificied a lot of things to walk the narrow way, I gave up fame and fortune; I’m worth a lot to Thee," and then I hear Him gently say to me,	「我多麽忠於基督！」感到滿意誇口。「我放棄這世間厚利，願走上窄小徑，我放棄富有尊貴，可算犧牲跟祢！」我細細聽救主去啟發我：		「我殷勤為耶穌作工，」我常這樣誇口「我已犧牲很多事物，為要行走窄路；我捨棄金錢名譽，我配作祢門徒，」我就聽見主慈聲對我說：
Chorus 2	"I left the throne of glory and counted it but loss, my hands were nailed in anger upon a cruel cross, but now we’ll make the journey with your hand safe in mine so lift your cross and follow close to me."	「我放棄天上光輝，失去榮華尊貴，雙手雙足被釘穿，痛苦死於苦架。今天有我一起去，親手領你走過，故快去背起苦架跟貼我。」		「我捨棄榮耀寶座，我以此為有損，惡人把我的雙手，釘在殘酷十架，今我們同走旅程，安穩牽著你手，故要背起你十架，靠近我。」
